I was so happy to find out Star and Conor were getting their own story. If you’re looking for a slow burn this book is for you. I was expecting a little bit more at the beginning because of the build up, but it was nicely done. Both characters have had major traumas in their lives and both work well together. Loved this book and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Nothing happens in this book. In fact, a lot of the story takes place in one room. The rest is convoluted dialogue about a conspiracy I stopped caring about.
Conor is so earnest I wasn't attracted to him and Star is pretty hard. Too hard for the softie Conor is with her.
I'm mad because I waited for this book through several pushed back release dates only to not be able to afford to read it in my preferred format. Finally giving in and reading it in KU, I'm relieved the paperback was priced so insanely. If I spent over 25.00 on this book, I would have been madder than I currently am.
I'm done with the series. Not even the cliffhanger in this one can manage to entice me.

Gahhhh! Serena Akeroyd has outdone herself! Filthy Lies is an absolute masterpiece that will shake you to your core with such a complex and intriguing story buried under a web of lies, betrayals, secret agendas, traumatic pasts and utterly mesmerizing and unyielding love❤️. For all Filthy “everything” fans, Star and Conor’s journey has long been building over many books and paved with sweet torture of longing. We finally get to look a little deeper into their story and witness Conor’s determination and obsession. The plot gets a little difficult at times with so many characters and past events coming up to help build and also remind us the course of the storyline but it is totally worth it❤️ Thankfully, this is a rapid release duet so we won’t have to wait long for Filthy Truth to get our happily ever after❤️
I saw this book on instagram and decided to check it out. It was a lot of plot and since I haven't read the other books in the series, I did feel a bit out of touch but it wasn't that bad. The characters were funny and enjoyable. I think I am going to read Declan's story and read the 9th book because it continues from this book.
