filthy lies
I’m not sure how Serena Akeroyd does this but she has once again written a book that drew me in from jump ! I could not put it down! Love this family. So GOOD.

This has been for sure one of my most anticipated releases of 2023 and although January is not even halfway through, I can say this will be in my top 5 reads of 2023! Conor has always been my favorite, my number one, my heart, I have loved him through this entire series... that is a lot to live up to when you hype a character in your mind for so long, I was a little worried but you know what??? Conor and Star did not disappoint me! He may be the nerd of the Feckers, the man that is at the desk most of the time, but that does not mean he's week, he kicks ass! This book was fantastic and I cant say much without giving spoilers but man... the way Conor is with Star is just *chefs kiss* and the way we see her evolve and the different facets of her is truly amazing. I really loved seeing her be a mom, and a darn good one, learning to show love to the people she cares about and understanding that she can be loved back and people will stick around.
Ultimately the story is filled with heat and heart, as well as family and mafia and even a tad bit of MC club drama. Serena's writing is engaging and immersive, and the characters are very well-developed and relatable in a way that you say you wanna be as cool as them cause they are so awesome and the plot has plenty of twists and turns to keep readers on the edge of their seats. Overall, Filthy Lies is a compelling and enjoyable read for fans of The Five Points' Mob Collection and it will leave readers eager for the next installment. BOOM!! - hey iykyk
