I read it after seeing 1 sentence of it on TikTok, so I didn’t get into the book with much expectations but let me tell you I absolutely LOVED it!!
First the characters are mature and the decisions they make are mature. I’m sick of reading about 28 year olds that act like teenager but Ruth and Knox weren’t one of them. Also all the other characters in the book are well written.
There’s a fantastic subplot about Ruth and her siblings which honestly made me cry.
A very good story all in all. Definitely worth the 5 stars, i had a very good time!!
Edit: I saw some negative reviews as this story to be “Wattpady” or the characters conversations not being realistic, but I can NOT agree, I found them very realistic.

I really enjoyed this book.
What I did not enjoy was the missing words. And the sentences with words out of order. Very jarring and completely unnecessary. Get an editor. Ask a friend to proofread your book.

This is a perfect example of why I usually wait a little while to write a review after reading a book. When I first read this book, I would've given it 3 stars. It wasn't stand out, but it wasn't the worst thing I've ever read, either.
Now, it's been - what, two weeks? - and I don't remember anything specific about the actual plot of this book or anything of significance about the characters beyond having enjoyed them.
While reading it was absolutely a fun time, I can't say that I would recommend it to anyone based solely off of how middling this book was. I mean, I haven't even read as many books as I usually would have by now, and it still doesn't have anything setting it apart from the rest, most of which I remember quite a bit about even to this day.
I absolutely think that this author has potential to be one I would enjoy as long as she works on making more memorable books and developing her characters, so I'd be interested to read her next book and see how that turns out, especially since I remember absolutely loving the overall plot of the book right after I finished it.
