By far my favorite in the Dream Hunter series, and that is all due to Seth.

Lydia and Seth

Ok!! Yes, I loved this book.

I know I should hate Noir BUT I CAN'T!! I love this character! He is an interesting villain, I know we don't get a lot about him in this book but still. I am intrigued by him.

Oki SO Lydia and Seth! They are on my top favorite couple list from this series.

Poor Seth, his past broke me really. The torture and everything that happened to him were sooooo sad. I felt so bad for him and everything that happened I cried a few times I must admit. I love Lydia, she is such a strong woman going to Noir realm ALONE to get *insert name here* (I really forgot who she tried to help escape, sorry).

The favorite scene of mine is the moment Lydia tried to show Seth how to use a laptop. I loved how Seth was so excited to see the sun.

HE WANTED TO SEE THE SUN!!!

There are so many emotional scenes between the two of them. He gave Lydia her voice back, saved her life in the end.

LOVE IT!!!! LOVE IT!!!! LOVE IT!!!!

First thing's first...

I kinda miss Kenyon's previous book covers. You know, the one with the pictures of the heroes and heroines in front? I think it's more sinister looking than the current covers.

Okay, now back with the story.

I like it. No... I don't just like it, I LOVE IT! I mean... finally, we're back to the realm I know. Though it's not entirely Greek, at least it has been discussed during the first books. The Melachai, Jaden, and Solin. Oh, Solin! That one. When I first read him on Arik's book, I know something's up with him and that I'll be seeing him again. I just feel sorry on what happened to him.

And Jaden! Wow. I really hoped his book came out already because I'm dying to know who's that important person he kept on talking about.

what I really love about the story was how Kenyon made Seth look so innocent. I mean, sometimes, when a writer is trying to make his character innocent, it came out annoying, but not with Seth. No! He's not annoying at all. He's very adorable, in fact.

So... there. Happy reading!

In this installment of the Dream Hunter Series, Dream Hunter Lydia goes to Asmodea or Hell to rescue her father Solin from the evil Noir, there she meets the Guardian, Seth. At the time Seth is torturing Solin to get the location of the key that will bring all of Olympus down. Seth sees how much Lydia means to Solin so he takes her instead and tells Solin to get the key or Lydia will die. Of course Seth never tortures Lydia and eventually they fall in love, but before that they have lots of fights and lots of blood goes flying. This was Kenyon's usual kick ass romance and as usual it was lots of fun to read.

4.5

Perfectly paced with a romance you could kill for. So happy to see Solin again and Nick's act of kindness at the end nearly killed me

It was rough reading about how bad Seth's life was and much he needed to heal. It always makes it better that Sherrilyn writes only happy endings

Not the best Dream Hunter novel, but not bad either. Yet not good enough to read again, so I give it 2 1/2 stars.

Second reading review, no star change. I think this dream-hunter book is a tie with the last one for my favorite in the Dream-Hunter branch of this world. Seth broke my heart, Lydia did as well. Happy they found and have each other. Enjoyed seeing Solin again and learning this bit about his past. Hope he gets his own H.E.A someday, also hope that Jaden is someday freed from Noir's grasp. With the exception of two books I have made it through the entire series! Took three months, with just three books read while I was waiting on one library book. Not too bad. Now on to Styxx. I am apprehensive about it, reviews (what I have seen) look good, wondering how Kenyon is going to redeem him. Of course like she has said, there is always two sides to every story...

Good story. The ending could have been better. It followed the same plot as several others in this series, except after the emotional crunch it just summarized rather than showing the reunion; which was disappointing. 4.5 out 5 stars. Wish i could read redemption, but not willing to pay that much.

Okay Im going to be honest and say that I didn't like this book until I was 25ish% into it. I almost stopped reading it but I am glad that I didn't.

Once Seth and Lydia admit that they care for each other (in their own heads) I was okay with it. I think the turning point for me was when she was teaching him about surfing the internet. I love that humor. Seth was a funny guy... even though he wasn't trying to be.

I know the characters are all the tormented hero but I just wasn't feeling Seth until he was looking at the sunsets on the computer and then after that I just started falling more and more in love with them.

So for readers like me who have a hard time sticking to a book when one stupid thing pisses them off (I know its horrible. I am working on it) Stick with this one! I love all the dream hunter books so far and this one is no exception!
