Originally I was going to only read “The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow” today, but I wasn’t feeling like reading “Last Days” so I picked up one of the unread Junji Ito works on my shelf.
And boy was that a good decision. I love Junji Ito’s art and stories. I’ve read a few before and I’ll definitely re-read them so I can review them on here. But I hadn’t read “GYO” yet. And it was so much fun. I always know when it comes to Junji that the concepts will be wild and the art even crazier, and that’s exactly what I got. It was also nice to read the two short stories he had at the end.
Ending the night with this, and hopefully I’ll be done “Last Days” by the end of this week so I can get into something quick, and then the big one “11/22/63”.
Again, Happy Halloween.

I enjoyed Gyo. It was funny, shocking, adventurous and gorey. The power mechanisms had me rolling. Very unique and imaginative. Junji Ito is a trip. I did enjoy the story; however, I was left with questions at the end that I would have liked answered though. Artwork was awesome. Very talented and detail oriented. This is all around a good time.
