Surprisingly enjoyable YA fantasy. Great characters an interesting premise. A bit of a stretch using welsh mythology in USA but I could suspend disbelief and go with the flow.

4⭐️ it’s good I just feel like I need to read it again to catch everything I didn’t the first time. Normally I’m really fast to catch on but it took me way longer to figure out what all the heck was going on in this book. With that being said, love the characters and the supernatural storylines. I’m excited to (probably re-read this first) and then read the second book

Apart from Adam's issues with his family, I can't say I cared for anything (or anyone) in this book. Adam seemed to be a decent character at first, likeable and relatable, but as the story progressed, his actions and the logic behind them puzzled me more and more, to the point of being completely and utterly perplexed.
