Extremely cute and perfect for the holidays. Catrina writes in a way where you fall instantly in love with Rom and Noelle. Love love love
This one was super sweet and I loved it, but I felt it ended a bit abruptly...I wanted like 2 more chapters.....
I think this is my favorite of all three relationships... The books just got better and better the longer I read. I loved the prior friendship between Noelle and Rom.
I'm not always a fan of flashbacks, but I felt like the snippets were appropriate and so well done as we connected with young Rom and Noelle.
I adored the way Rom wanted to take care of Noelle because she wasn't taking care of herself. Great steamy scenes to tie together the heavier parts of the story.
And lastly, I loved that all the stories intertwined together in a singular meeting point.
Overall a wonderful winter story and a lovely wrap up to the three stories in the series! Highly recommend this and the other two in the series to keep you warm during the cold of winter...

A sweet, cozy low-stakes story from the “Horned Up for the Holidays” series, “Beastly & Bookish” is a shorter holiday read at 264 pages (ebook) by Catrina Bell.
A Demon revisits his hometown with the main goal to at the very least re-acquaint himself with his first love/childhood crush, in hopes she may remember him and feel the same. This story involves a struggling library, a small and caring community, family, and a whole slew of can’t-wait-to-meet-them side characters.
Tropes:

Tropes:
Cozy small town holiday romance with a distinctly paranormal twist. I loved the demonic angle on this story and the unique world building. Rom is my favorite kind of hero--a nerdy cinnamon roll who absolutely worships his beloved but has insecurities of his own to overcome. Noelle was a great foil for him, never letting his doubts get in their way, and having such strong connections to the community. There were a few plot twists that stretched my suspension of disbelief (fricking Chad!) but it all came together nicely in the end. I recommend this one for anyone looking for a sweet holiday story with a little spice and a whole lot of holiday magic.

Favorite quotes:
This is what a library can do - celebrate everything all at once. It's a place where treasures are kept on display, never hoarded and always shared. Anyone can pick a book up off the shelf and expand their mind or find a cozy place to reread an old favorite.
Sometimes life takes an irrevocable turn, and we have no choice but to adapt. Find a new normal. Hold tight to all the good we can, whatever we have left.
“You’re everything to me. My past and my future. There’s nowhere else I want to be than with you.”

Tropes:
- Second Chance Romance
- Childhood Best Friends
- Forced Proximity
A contemporary whimsical holiday novella with a shy, uncertain bookworm of a demon who returns to the cozy town of Winter Bliss and falls in love (again) with his human childhood best friend, the librarian of the town. A fantastic introduction to Catrina Bell, a lovely cozy (and spicy) second-chamce romance with a surprising amount of depth and care put into story and world building. I loved this story and I recommend it to anyone who's looking for some cozy holiday winter-y reads!
