This fucked me up big time but in the best way possible. The way mental illness and its effects on relationships is handled by this author is so real. Well done.

I really really thought I was going to love this. And there were parts of it I totally did. It has these strong, gorgeous moments, and I agree that it has that Fleabag style humor. But. It was so hard to follow at parts that it took me a month to get through this, which was disappointing. I was so sure I'd fly through this, but I think this might just be a bit too all over the place for me. I think it's fine if the protagonist herself doesn't always have a handle on things, but I think I needed the plot to be a bit tighter so that I could still find my way. Would rec for Halle Butler fans, and maybe even Sam Irby fans who want something with that same biting humor but made heavier.

Really not fussed by this. Insufferable main character and IMO not a great take on mental health

Martha is practically irredeemable. I suppose that’s the point, and the book successfully made me feel how it wanted me to, but it was SO hard to read as a result.
