It was kinda funny at times, but not as funny as the author seemed to think it was. It felt very long winded.

I love Grumpy/sunshine. Poor Max was not totally prepared for Tillie Jean. He likes things to be a certain way and he cannot afford to alienate his teammates. Falling for his teammates sister is not in the cards. But Tillie Jean is tenacious and she has been dealing with her crazy brothers for years. The practical jokes have gotten of hand but it is their love language.

I really loved these two together. Such a fun and easy read.

She deserves someone who’s already whole. Not someone who didn’t know what whole was until I let her in.

While this isn't the Rock sibling we are desperate to get a story for (c'mon Cooper.... please talk to Pippa so we can see you get your HEA), I throughly enjoyed being back in Shipwreck as we watched Max and Tillie finally admit their feeling for one another!! This book had lots of laughs, lots of heat and lots of tension! A great addition to the series :)

What in the crazy fever dream did I just read?????
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not sure if I just don’t remember the other books being this strange or if this one was way wackier than the others but holy crap did it feel like I was on drugs. The mascot competition was a riot in the last book, but the chaos the mascot card game created in this book was something to behold. This town is so delightfully weird and the humor had me laughing out loud. Every character is straight out of a cartoon. I couldn’t imagine knowing any of these people in real life. They’re both hilarious and horrifying. I think they’d drive me insane. But my feelings are conflicted hahaha
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The tension between Max and Tillie Jean was intense. From the very first chapter they’re both thinking about how off limits the other is. As annoying at their broken record inner monologue was, these two were destined to drive each other insane which kept things interesting. Tillie Jean’s brother Cooper on the other hand, is a giant pain in the ass. Thank goodness for Cooper and TJ’s other more down to earth brother, Grady. He was the voice of reason throughout the book.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book is filled with pranks, goats, the slowest of burns, plenty of ridiculousness, and a LOT of laughter. Plus the occasional tear jerker moment. My only hang up is that Max should really seek out a new therapist/psychiatrist. Because his current one was doing nothing for him & He’s got serious issues, that only partially got addressed.

Good times

It wasn’t Cooper. Oops. So much glitter. I’m sure it seeped in everywhere. What a fun book to read. It was a good time.
