funny inspiring medium-paced

I could see why people wouldn't like this book. Teen romance has a way of feeling trite and naive making you want to gag. I like that Eleanor wasn't the stereotypical manic pixie girl and park wasn't just the hot guy or the nerdy guy. It was a fun read and reminded me a lot of my first relationship. Some of the situations were a little farfetched and it didn't feel like it was the 80s either.

Better than the fault in our stars-for the YA genre.

This is why I never pay attention to reviews, because it gives me expectations. And I end up dissapointed like this. I thought, at first, this was going to be a chill novel, but it was corny af. Eleanor annoyed me so much, even before I reached the half of the book. And no, I'm not saying I was expecting all to be happy and fine, I know sh*t happens, but everything and everyone were so irritating... This only was a quick read to accomplish my challenge, whatever.

PD: Eleanor inmamable. Creo que la autora condensó toda su inseguridad en ese personaje.
PD2: Also, there was this fact that Park is a korean last name, not first name... This just made it even more irritating.

Finished reading this one at 2AM this morning. When you relate so much to the protagonists-you have to finish reading the book. You need to know if the other life you're living through the novel ends well.

this felt like the longest book I’ve ever read. the ending was cute and I love park but Eleanore made me mad and I know she is supposed to but it was just frustrating. I also would have liked if we got so the flash forward scene like how it started but it’s whatever.
