I wasn't sure about this book before I actually started it. It may sound like a typical teenage romance, but the characters are unique and their relationship is heartfelt. A great read for boys and girls.

ugh!! what is this even
1. liked the plot development
2. I failed to understand the main characters (kinda glad I don't)
3. The way Eleanor adopted the audacity of ghosting him from miles away was frustrating
4. I hate the ending because WHAT and WHY
5. Park's brain is no more, maybe smudged eyeliner is interfering with his ability to see things clearly

I generally enjoyed this book. However, I think Eleanor and Park should have just been friends. I don’t think either of them were really right for each other, or ready for a relationship for that matter. Eleanor’s home life was absolutely awful, but it meant she wasn’t treating Park well. She just wasn’t ready for a relationship. I also think Park was a bit childish and also wasn’t ready. They were just kids and I think they would’ve been great as friends.
