For a middle grade book, this book had a lot of layers and was well written. The struggles were relatable and made the characters more complex. I loved and hated the ending, like i want answers but I know why we don’t have them. It Eleanor and Park’s story, not mine.
So I really liked this book it was cute and good enough to get me out of my reading slump. But I didn't really connect with the characters like I did in Fangirl. Still a really good read.
I won't say that I was entirely happy with the ending, because I wasn't. However the rest of the book was so good that I will overlook my dissatisfaction. And pretty random but cool that Eleanor was Danish.
