It really did make me feel like I was in love again. It brought back the feeling of sadness, anger and jealousy but also the feeling of being loved. Eleanor and Park are two seemingly different people who fall in love and it was wonderful.
adventurous emotional lighthearted medium-paced

One of my favorite books of all time- this book will make you feel 17 again and like you’re falling in love for the first time ✨ I was kicking my feet and giggling the whole book! Rainbow Rowell’s humor and wit comes through so stunningly in this novel and every other novel by her.

This is a sweet novel about the formation of a romantic relationship between two teenagers in Omaha in 1986. But there is a lot more going on beneath the surface of this romance, and the two teenagers have to face decisions no kids should ever have to make.

Here are my thoughts on Eleanor & Park.

I heard about this book through a podcast recommendation. I don't tend to read a lot of JA books, but this one sounded like any age could enjoy and appreciate. Which turned out to be the case. This book captivated me immediately and quickly became a read I could not put down. This book is written with sensitivity and an appreciation of the quirky and awkward that in some ways we never grow out of. No spoiler here, just to say I loved the ending.
