This book was a good take on the Brother’s Best Friend and Enemies to Lovers tropes. I really appreciated how the author handled the MFC epilepsy. My only complaint is I felt quite lost in the beginning 1/4 of the book. Like I was missing all sorts of character development.

This reads as if it was written by Tessa Bailey and not Kate Canterbary. Hard pass. Can Kate go back to the writing style of her Walsh series and Vital Signs series? Please and thank you 🙃😭
✨Rating is 4.5 ✨
Roses: this is story is so cute and comical. Theres a lot of great banter and witty remarks that Beckett and Sunny both jab at each other. All of the ladies that make up the world of Naked Provisions are gems on their own but add such great support to Sunny. Sunny deals with epilepsy but doesn’t let that get in her way of life and her boss bitch energy shines through all the time which makes me really enjoy her. Beckett is a great book boyfriend. He’s a problem solver but needs a little help himself. The spice in this book is sooo drool worthy. It was done in such a tasteful but realistic way. I didn’t think while reading that the spice was to overly done.
Thorns: I wish the family problem could have been more exciting or at least solved quicker. It felt like it wasn’t going anywhere. I would have loved more from each of their siblings.
