I read Kate Canterbary books for witty dialogue, a rich cast of quirky characters and some steamy scenes between the protagonists. And guess what? This one delivered as usual.  ðŸ˜€

I really enjoyed this romance, it was a fun read and definitely had the type of vibes that I enjoy to read in a contemporary romance novel.  I enjoyed the main characters and the journey of how they got together in the book.  I think my favorite aspect of the book was the small town setting.  I really enjoy romance books that take place in a small town where everyone is in everyone else's business, where they have kooky characters, and random festivals all the time.  It's just fun to read although in real life I would probably hate it.  I like that it not just a romance and there is a background story going on between Beckett and him trying to get his parents out of trouble and Sunny starting her new cafe and all the entails. It was a fun read and had some cute moments, I really enjoyed reading Beckett and Sunny together and how he was conscious about making sure that she was comfortable.  I like when she got hurt and he took care of her (I'm a sucker for that in any book).  I do have to admit though I'm not sure how satisfied I was with the ending.  There seemed to be a lot of loose ends especially everything with Beckett's parents.  I'm going to assume that that story line is going to continue on in Beckett's brother's book but if not it really doesn't feel resolved.  I kind of wish that things were a bit more tied up in the end but I will without hold judgment to see if some of the storylines will Bleed into the next book.  Overall, I really did enjoy it and will definitely keep my eye out for the next book.

I liked the book and how it involved characters from the same area but not directly? But there was so much going on lmao just pick like one thing maybe.

Beckett is just plain mean - I was so turned off by how much of an ass he is. Not an ass you can tell has a heart, just an ass.

Easy read with lovable characters - although they were a bit too extra for my taste. The main characters had chemistry but their action/conversations were not completely relatable/understandable.
