I'm determined to catch up on the Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton because she's having the ninth book come out soon.
I highly recommend the fifth book in the Eternal Mates series because of not only the addicting characters, but because of the adventurous and romantic storyline.
I give Craved by an Alpha 4.5 stars and look forward to reading the next book very soon.

Just ok
No where nearly as interesting as the last two. Much shorter story, not as invested in the H/h. This one could have used more dialogue and appearances by characters from previous installments. I have a feeling the next one's going to be pretty much the same. Trying to make it to the dragon book.

This novella is the fifth story in the Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton. This is a series that I've enjoyed since I started reading book one, Kissed by a Dark Prince. I love that there are four books coming out back to back to back early this year. The author has gifted us with some great stories.
In this book, we have Cavanaugh, a snow leopard (one of my favorite real life animals, they are just beautiful). He has left his pride and his mate, the love of his life and best friend. After the death of his father, he was forced to become alpha of his pride. Becoming alpha means that he had to give up the love of his life because of her station in the pride.
When Eloise shows up at Underworld, she is not the same girl that Cavanaugh walked away from five years earlier. She is much stronger and a lot more desperate. The current acting alpha is terrorizing the pride and she wants Cavanaugh to come back and retake the pride, even if that means they could never be together.
I really enjoyed their trip back to the grounds was pretty amazing. I would have loved to actually have seen the scenery. The detail that was used for the cliff climbing was pretty remarkable, especially for a novella. While, there wasn't much action during this part of their journey, the author was detailed enough to keep the story very interesting. Once they get closer to the pridelands (is that too Lion King sounding??), the action picks up even more.
Craved by an Alpha is a book that you could read without reading any of the other books in the series. We don't see much of the other characters in the series. While I did miss seeing them, this story was a great even with just the snow leopards. I highly recommend this series to any paranormal romance fan. I'm really excited to start the next book in this series. Luckily, I don't have to wait long.

This is a short book. But, the whole conflict of the book was miscommunication/non-communication between the two main characters. It's a big pet peeve of mine to move a story along because two people can't simply open their mouths and talk about a basic conflict. There was more inner dialogue that was pretty repeatative compared to ACTUAL dialogue between the two characters. They would seriously stand in front of each other and hash stuff out in their brains but remain silently staring at each other. Frustrating, so very, very frustrating.

When you find yourself loving every book that you have read by a particular author, it makes you question if he/she can continue to develop the quality stories you have come to expect. Well, once again Ms. Heaton has proven that she has the ability to keep delivering the type of stories that will keep her fans coming back for more. Her descriptive writing and attention to detail helps make her stories come alive.

I was curious to uncover why the hero would want to be a man without status. Who or what was motivating him to give up his position?

Eloise has loved Cavanaugh for a long time and she was devastated when he left. She knew based on the rules they could not be together, but she is willing to sacrifice her love if meant that the pride would be protected. It was to this end she went looking for him to convince him to return.
What followed is a journey fraught with danger and passion. I liked how they worked together to reach their destination. The love between these two was evident throughout the pages of the book. Craved by an Alpha is a story that depicts that true love is all about making sacrifices. It shows that love means putting another person’s happiness above yours.
This is the shortest book in the series so far and it can be read as a standalone. I love this series and I am looking forward to reading the next book.

After years of being away from his pride, suffering through loneliness and the pain of knowing that he is not only separated from his mate, but she isn't even aware of his true need for her, Cavanaugh was only days from seeing his plans come to fruition when Eloise shows up and his plans have to change.

I started reading this one ages ago when I read the previous book, something bothered dme about it and I out it down at about 30%...i picked it up this morning and read the full thing... I think I know what made me put it down... I really dislike Eloise as a character, she's so doomsday and depressing as a character I found her so annoying sadly
