T.S. Eliot's poetry is fascinating. I utterly love how it stretches the capacities of my mind and connects directly to the realities of heart and soul. Rather than at a place where I can adequately analyze, I am still in a place of discovering what he means and uncovering how he elevates his readers' thinking. I will be going back to this book for the next few weeks, at the very least, to continue learning! Thus far, however, I am finding Eliot brilliant and thankful for how he stretches my intellect! The ideas he contemplates are incredible and enduring.

Extraordinary, wonderful poetry: multi-layered, sensual, complex.
Gosh, the first chapter had me agonising over whether to continue - I found it too heavy and dull. However, East Coker swooped in and I found the strength to continue in its magnificence - the Dry Salvages was very much in the shadow of East Coker but was a very good second, but the magic slipped away by the end of this collection.
