Mama… what was this! This was a crazy wild ride for under 200 pages, I’m sure the 1st and 2nd book could have been split evenly. I can barely even remember all their names!

I was unprepared for the emotional damage this book would inflict even though I went in knowing how it ended. Sweet, sweet, perfect Asher ❤️❤️ I am so angry FOR him. And Grace. It’s unfair and not right. And it makes me want to scream! This book ripped my heart out and stomped on it! Please excuse me while I race to book two so I can be put back together.

Wow, I was in the mood for a friend's to lovers book what I did not expect. This cute looking book devastated me. Grace and Asher have been before since they were little. Also, they are neighbors. They grew up always pining for each other. Now Asher finally goes after what he wants one night ruins their lives.
This was so sweet and quick. the author did a great job with setting the town, the families, and rivalries in a short amount of time. Grace is great even after that horrible night, and she is standing by her man. My heart broke for Asher. The part getting together was a little rushed, but I mean, she had to pur a lot in under 200 pages. I will say the next book I am already downloading, she hooked me. I love Grams and all the brothers so much.

The twist in this book completely threw me off guard. I was just expecting it to be a cutesy romance with a touch of fireman spice, yet when the book felt almost concluded to me but was only 70% through I was so curious. At this point in the book I felt disappointed because I felt like things had gone WAY too fast, yet not much had even happened. Then the fight happened with little to no explanation and BAM, murder?! Romance books never normally have these sorts of twists so I was hooked at this point! Such a different type of book than I was expecting it to be.
