This was a pretty good book. It wasn't spectacular, but it got the job done. And people should read it. I had already known about the awful treatment of albinos in Tanzania, thanks to National Geographic, but it was good to get a more personal look at the problem. And it's really sad.

Read this book, yo.

I don't know anything about day-to-day life in Tanzania or life as an albino but after reading this book, I certainly feel like i have taht experience. Habo's experiences and thoughts felt real. Well-developed characters with lots of nuance.

I absolutely loved this book. My one uncertainty is that the author is Caucasian. I'd love to hear thoughts on the book from Tanzanian people.
