This is definitely the darkest book of the series so far. It gets pretty bleak, folks…you have been warned!

Ó, 𝘩𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘻𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘨 𝘦𝘨𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘴𝘬𝘢 𝘢𝘱𝘳ó 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘮! 𝘖𝘩, 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘢 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘺𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘵.

Old traumas are re-experienced, even worse this time. And now, all of Brexley’s new found friends and family get to join in, as well.

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴. 𝘞𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘶𝘴.

Working together, our characters never lose hope, which helps keep them going, as well as us, the reader.

By the last chapter, everyone is pretty severely traumatized by the events of this book, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they all work through their demons, and see them get their revenge in the final installment.

This one dragged on. It’s also 10x darker than any of its predecessors. Stacey’s world building is so meticulous you feel as if you are with Brex and Warwick the entire time, which for most of the book is great, but I could have done without the (second, third) prison stays.

Amazing next installment. I have never read a book that gave me anxiety sweats literally from page 1 to the end. An emotional ride, it was just captivating. The spice is amazing, the plot is dark and twisty. My only “complaint” is that I could see the traitor plot twist coming a mile away.

Where do I even begin with my review for Blood Lands? This was definitely one of my top highly-anticipated books for 2022 and i just instantly knew that I was going to love it. Plus, it’s Stacey Marie Brown, we all know that she’s one of my favorites and I’ll forever shout everyone to read her books.

You can absolutely expect this one to pick up where Bad Lans left off and I’m not alone when my heart just dropped at that cliffhanger. Because how the heck were they going to get out of that? They barely made it out the first time and i was terrified to see what was going to happen this time.

Stacey does not make it easy for us at all,. but I didn’t expect her to. In the end, they need to escape from there and no one’s safe from death.

To me, this will absolutely cause the most damage, emotionally. I’m still recovering and it has been well over a week (or two) since I finished. Brexley will face so, sooo much and yet, not really dealing with any of it at all. My heart kept breaking for her over and over again.

Buckley up everyone because this will be an unforgettable ride. Stacey does it again with Blood Lands and tries to prepare us for what’s ahead.

I won’t say much beyond this, but let’s get our girl!
