This book wrecked me. Like, full-on ugly crying. Ugh. These characters tug at my heartstrings in a way I can’t even explain. I don’t know how TJ Klune does it, but I’m so deeply attached to this pack it hurts. I love them so much.
Robbie’s POV has been incredible—honestly, it might be my favorite yet. His perspective brought so much vulnerability and raw emotion. And that Thomas Bennett quote?
"I can’t wait to meet you. But I hope you understand that I’ll be fine with waiting on that meeting for a time because when he gives you his heart, it will no longer be mine to hold, and I want to hold on to it as long as I’m able.”
😭😭😭 ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Thomas freaking Bennett, bro.
I love the way this series is written—the short, punchy sentences, the dialogue-heavy scenes—it all just works. It’s probably the only series where I don’t mind sticking with a single POV.
I just love these books and these characters so, so much. My heart is full and shattered at the same time.

I was skeptical of this one as I hadn’t connected to Robbie as much as the other characters in the first two books in the series as he hadn’t grown up with the Bennetts like the other characters- and got a little whiplash in the beginning that really hooked me in plot wise. This was a very unconventional love story and one of my first times reading about an ace lead. Robbie’s backstory is heartbreaking (as are many other parts of this book- it really goes through the full emotional spectrum), but it was so nice reading about how Robbie relearns all of his relationships within the pack and falls in love again despite missing his memories. Like the last book in this series, it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger and I immediately want to start the next book.
