So this title was recommended to me during a library webinar for teens! I put it on my to reads list back in 2020 but I never read it until now. I did however, watch the first two seasons and fell in love with it! So I wanted to read it and see how different it was from the anime!

Overall, I thought it was just as good as the anime. It was a tad shorter and the first volume was quick to get through, but I thought it stayed very close to the anime! The storyline and characters were amazing to watch and I loved reading this! It even covered the first three episodes to a T.

Character wise, I love Dazai! That guy is a hilarious and skilled fighter and detctive! I know some would argue that his..."intentions"...might come off as controversal, but the more I see him in every scene, the more I adore him. Also, if you read the bio on the real author, Osamu Dazai, you can see the simmunlarities between them!

Atsushi is a sweet bean that deserves all the love in life. This boy has been through so much and he's finally found a group to be a part of. I can't wait to see what happens next in the manga!

As for Kunikida, Mr. Proper with a Short Temper. I kept lauging every time he and Dazai get into it! Serioulsy, those two are a riot in every chapter! As a charcter, he's interesting! He's always trying to keep things serious, but he always ends up dealing with the chaos that is the Armed Detective Agency.

The one last note I'll leave is that anyone who would like to read this series, needs to definitely research the characters! Every single character in this series is named after a famous author and their super power is based and named off a book they have written. It's quite fascinating!

I can't wait to read the next volume and see what happens next (even if I've seen the show at this point haha)
