I enjoyed this book, but mostly loved the characters. At a certain point, the plot became a bit predictable; although, I did like the story and ending. The characters were the best part: I loved to love the protagonists and loved to hate the antagonist. I look forward to reading the sequel.

This book wasn't bad but it wasn’t great either. I was bored at times and I don't remember much of the book, but I remember being frustrated a bit with some of the choices being made. Don’t even get me started with Bess having a romance with an on the page rapist.
