While this book was cute, it wasn't for me. It was all fine, but I struggled to care about what Riley and Max we're going thought.

This is the first book I read by these authors and I’d be lying if I said the main reason I wanted to read it was because of Taylor Swift being the inspiration for Riley. THE BREAKUP TOUR starts off a little slow, but once it picks up, it really picks up and I found myself really enjoying the story, especially once you get used to the constant music references and stopped rolling my eyes at them.

I’m so disappointed with this. I loved the roughest draft and enjoyed most of their other books but I don’t think this was memorable and I don’t really like Taylor swift/Kelsi Ballerina so that didn’t thrill me. But I really expected it to be good. I don’t think I’m going to remember this at all. I’m also confused as to why the writing was so cheesy and the book felt kind of shallow to me

I was immediately attracted to this books cover art and plot. The description told me this was going to be a second chance at love; I like the idea of a then and now point of view when done right and I think duo did it quite well, not my favorite.

Overall I thought this was a good read, not great.
