I was required to read this book for a class, and it was genuinely interesting. I'm not a huge fan of stories revolving around Christian people, but the information about the Holocaust in this book is priceless. At the start it is a very slow book, but it does pick up as the events of WWII unfold, and it truly is heartbreaking to see what people went through at this time.

It takes place in WWII in Austria, and the main character goes to a confinement camp, and a lot happens while she is there.
