NOOOOO 😭😭😭 they only just got reunited come onnn. Cassius, Sevro and Darrow were 10000% the best part of this book like even starting with the Darrow and Sevro reunion I canttt. I’m sad they didn’t end up at Mars but wow THINGS WERE UNCOVERED HAHAH 🥲 Darrow, Sevro and Cassius bursting from the animal and chasing Fa along the islands was actual cinema, that whole scene I was so happy…. If only I knew what was coming Jesus Lysander is slippery…. I kinda saw Cassius’ death coming BUT THAT DIDNT MAKE IT ANY EASIER I’m so devastated 😭it felt kinda like the “good old times” of red rising im actual depressed rn. I can’t believe Lysander actually did it and shot him THAT MANY TIMES I can’t. This book made me really dislike him I’ve tried so hard to like him but I just can’t. Even him in the Morning Star made me annoyed and attacking Mars’ moon with the reds and clawdrills?? Like why r u fighting to be enslaved!!!! I loved the intensity of the attack on Phobos especially in Virginia POV soo good. I mean no matter what I’m glad Atlas is dead… but even I don’t think he was 100% bad. Seeing Diomedes, Volga and Athena all sail for mars was a bittersweet ending and I’m soo excited for Red God but I feel like as I’m reading it I’m gonna be sad for Cassius.

A masterpiece. Everything about this book is damn near perfect. Even after 670 pages, I was craving more. I can't wait for the finale of this epic tale.
