At first, I didn’t really like Christopher. He had that playboy, narcissistic, a-hole of an attitude. Thank goodness he redeemed himself towards the end (and a few bits even before) but I am jumping ahead. Christopher and Hazen doesn’t seem to mesh well when they first meet but slowly these two turn from enemies to friends to lovers. What began as spooning developed into more. Christopher or Christo (when he was hiding out backpacking) gets a wake up when he starts on his backpacking journey. It is during this trip where he finds his Hazen. He develops a friendship with a young boy (12 years old) Eddie that works in the hostel’s bar is just the sweetest thing. Christo (as Eddie calls him) develops a connection with Eddie that he cant explain. The second half of the book things start getting deep and a bit emotional. There was a few times I was tearing up. Thankfully, Christopher and Hazen get to their HEA. In good news, Eddie gets a HEA also.

This book may be my fav of all four! Cristo - Eddie - my heart! I did find out there is a final book that I didn’t know about so on to the last of the Miles. Oh, mother Miles raises some fine men and she is one get-to-the-point-momma! Oh and Hazen’s parents get a shout out too! I loved the characters in this book!

Eddie and the group were honestly the only redeemable thing about this book.

This was a bit of a disappointing finish to the series. I really liked the premise of the book and it being about a billionaire going on his own adventure but I don’t think it was executed that well. I just didn’t really like Christopher as a character. He lacked depth and he didn’t really grow and when he and Hayden got in arguments I absolutely hated how he spoke to her. I did like the backpacking element but I think the time jumps took away from the romance. I did like the friends to lovers element and I loved the storyline with Eddie. I thought the ending was rushed and it wasn’t all that satisfying and the book dragged on towards the end. So again probably my least favorite of the series but I’m looking forward to reading the novella.
