The Do-Over

Oh my god I literally can’t. This book was so freaking heartfelt and honestly one of the best plot lines I’ve read in a while. The many settings and the different aspects of the book - when they were traveling, London, and back in Barcelona - it was honestly just a thrill to read. I love how Chris started off as a player who didn’t really know how to survive by himself and how eventually through the people that he met he got more and more independent.
The characters in this book were outstanding, and I just loved how each of them had their own personalities. I loved the friend group while they were staying in the hostages, but I mostly loved Eddie. He was such a sweetheart, and I truly can’t believe that I’m leaving these characters behind. Especially all of the brothers. They built their own personalities throughout the series and I’m definitely not letting this series go easily. It was such a fun experience to listen to, and made me laugh quite a lot, and I don’t think I’ve finished a series quicker than this one.
Chris and Hayden’s relationship was top-tier, and I’m glad that I got to see them expand as people throughout the four books.
Overall, this story was greatly detailed and never made me bored, even though there were 551 pages. I had such fun time watching their character development and now I need to find another series to listen to or I’m gonna cry.
I can’t believe this is the last book

I’m not sure if I had high expectations based on the first three books or not, but Christopher’s story fell a bit flat for me. The story line felt so chopped up and jumped all over the place. Eddie, however, was adorable! I enjoyed his character.
