What can I say? Like the other books I adored this read. I laughed a lot which is great in a read. Christopher and Hayden’s story was great. I loved them.

I loved this book! I found it an entertaining and witty read with a billionaire challenging himself and I think he coped very well with the big changes involved. I have been really enjoying this series, it’s the first T. L Swan that I’ve experienced and will definitely read more of her books.

I absolutely loved the storyline, characters felt well developed and the ending rocked my heart!!

Classic TLSwan!!

Classic billionaire romance with funny witty banter. I loved that Haden was a country girl. So cute! The stopover was my first introduction into reading two years ago. Since then TL Swan has become one of my favorite authors. Christopher might be my favorite miles brother. I can’t wait to read Miles ever after in February.

So, Christopher Miles.. I bought the book as I have the others and while the first two books were a constant stream of entertainment I find that Christopher just didn’t hit in a big way like his older brothers did.

Again it’s pretty much the same thing, the ladies get mad but then somehow resolve their issue by basically bending over backwards to please the guy- meh

It was good not great, there were defo laugh out loud moments- those I enjoyed very much!

Liked seeing the guys from previous series- Julian, Spencer and Sebastian, though everyone seems to have had a complete personality transformation (maybe it’s just me).

It was a good book, much better editing. Maybe there were some bits that could have been left out - and I never say that for books where the story fully entertains me.

I would recommend for continuity purposes, funny in some parts, a tad emotional- kinda cheese emotional if you know what I mean but it does the job.

This book was seriously good. Im a real sucker for a friends to lovers and this was done really well. The takeover has been my favourite because it was soooo funny but if I'm being honest the story line in this one really did things to my heart, at this point the do-over is neck and next with the takeover.

Gosh that ending, i was crying with laughter one second then happiness the next... gosh Eddie was the BEST character. He may have been my favourite thing in the whole book.

There where a few times when i felt like i didnt really like the way Hayden dealt with Christopher's insecurities, for eg. When he got in a fight in the bar and the whole conversation the had outside after the incident. I also didnt like comments like "I hate rich people" from Hayden, it was super judgemental for no real reason and didnt mess with her character IMO.
Overlooking the few things where to my personal taste, the story was really good and I loved the backpacking storyline it was different and interesting.

I cant wait to read about them all again in "miles ever after" i just need MORE.
I would love to see claires kids get books in the future and definitely would love to read Eddie get his second HEA after ending up with Chris and hayden. I would be down for reading about him finding a nice partner.

⭐⭐⭐ It was okay, ignoring the issues for a fun read (average not a standout)

In pursuit of a deeper meaning to his life, Christopher takes a year-long sabbatical from his privileged existence to backpack through Europe with a new identity and no financial security. Arriving at a chaotic hostel, he meets Hayden, his roommate, who, despite being different from his usual type, captivates him with her beauty and intelligence. Despite attempts to charm her, he finds himself friend-zoned by Hayden. Undeterred, he plans to become her best friend but soon realizes that friendship might not be enough as he grapples with deeper feelings emerging between them.

My feelings about this book are mixed, I find the flow and pace inconsistent, and towards the end, certain initially important aspects are disregarded. For some reason it felt forced and their romantic development wildly strange. Hayden was mature and funny while she had sweet moments with Eduardo but she doesn't always deserve Christophers bad behaviour. Christopher thinks he can sleep with someone else after meeting the heroine and is always disrespecting for her feelings, especially regarding her depression and career, and his self-centered nature, leave the ending feeling rushed and less satisfying.

Tropes: opposites attract, strangers to friends to lovers, forced proximity
Triggers: not sure might have to check.

This is really diferent than the rest of the series, it felt more concrete. The begging is well written, but it did felt a little wattpad-ish.
I really liked the outcome. I felt like Christopher was way more build than his brothers it felt more realistic in a way.

It breaks my heart to give this rating but my oh my was this a bigger disappointment than the frozen pizza I had for dinner.

It started off really well! I loved the whole 'Let my rich self live like an ordinary pay cheque to pay cheque citizen' and seeing how aghast he is at how us common folk live.

But then things quickly spiralled out of control including Christopher's personality.
It was as if the author didn't know whether to make him the bratty baby-of-the-family character or the entitled, rich, self-absorbed character or the tantrum-throwing rich kid character. This dude was all over the place! One thing does stand throughout, he is entitled, spoilt and so selfish.

Hayden was not much better. She made no effort, NONE, to figure out what she wanted. She just wallowed and appeared at certain places at convenient times. A marshmallow if I ever saw one.

Chris and Hayden never communicated with each other. NEVER!!!! They would spew irrational thoughts, hurt feelings and sleep with each other. When I got to the end of the story, I felt I had no idea who these two characters were.

The Eddie plot was beyond ridiculous and not even I (a soap opera lover) could suspend my disbelief for that particular storyline.

The writing is so clunky and all over the place. I felt like I was having whiplash but without experiencing the impact beforehand. The MULITPLE time jumps did not work in this story either. (If it's only an hour later, no need to let the reader know by announcing it before the start of the paragraph. I'm sure you can find more creative ways to indicate the passing of time)
