The couple is childish and disrespectful to each other. There are double standards and while both are in the wrong, I feel like Christopher has to crawl and humiliate himself for her to "forgive" him, while Hayden is "always right" (she isn't). There is no emotional connection or progress in their relationship. They have a problem? Scream, snap, and sex.

couldve been 5 stars but like the guy messed everything up. ik they got together too early.
I’m so disappointed.
I feel like this one was just thrown together, which really sucks because I adored the other three in the series. There were a few striking plot holes or just general “not paying attention to what was said” things. (Chapter 12).
This one was also not nearly as spicy as the others.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it still has its funny moments, but idk it just didn’t do it for me.
I absolutely hated Christopher throughout and really didn’t think he deserved Hayden. At all. And Hayden was a sweet pea.
Idk, maybe I’ll skim it over again and reevaluate it at a later time. But for now, no.

The only reason I gave 3 stars was for the few funny parts, otherwise this was such a disappointment! Christopher was an insufferable character and the way he treated Hayden was absolutely awful! Very disappointing end to this series.

I’m totally obsessed with this series, and I’m so sad it’s over! I need more Miles brothers in my life.

I could not put this book down, I read it in less than 24 hours (as I did with the rest of this series!).
This one was pretty different than the rest of the series, since Christopher isn’t his “billionaire self.”
He often had me laughing out loud - especially while preparing for his trip (like, I actually snorted 🤣).
There were also so many sweet elements that had me in tears.
The side characters - their travel buddies & EDDIE - were integral to their story.
Hayden & Christopher are adorable, constantly toeing the line between what’s appropriate and not, for “just friends.”
I love how they fell for each other, slowly and with friendship first.

I don’t even know where to start explaining how frustrating this was. I wanted to like this book and I really tried. I thought Christopher would be a nice, funny guy from what we learned in the past books, especially from Elliott‘s book. I mean he helped him with the animals and took care of him when he was arrested. He seemed to be competent and somewhat like a decent guy. Well, I was wrong. He acted like a teenager (he is 31 years old!). Everything has to be perfect for him and be exactly the way he wants it to be. If it is not he gets mad, starts yelling at people and is really rude. And the problem was that at times I thought that he was getting better. And right after those scenes he started acting out again. He is such an egocentric person and I honestly do not understand how Hayden fell for him. I mean it isn’t like he was like that to everyone but her. No, he yelled at her as well and did not care about her opinions at all!. He has ZERO empathy and would not understand why she did not want to live in the city of London for him when she grew up on a farm and works with farm animals. He expected her to move across the world for him because he is rich and has an important job and thinks her job is a hobby and not important. And then instead of compromising on living outside of London (like his brother btw. it’s not like he just somehow couldn’t get the idea) he wants her to live with him and refuses to change anything. But the worst thing was that Hayden just went back to him all the time. I really don’t get it. She is such a pushover. I am so mad.
Oh and I was so confused that they went backpacking in Europe. I thought they would go to Asia or South America or something. But Europe? Who goes backpacking in Europe?
Also: The way he just expected her to be okay with him lying to her about his identity for a whole year? He is so next level delusional and entitled and somehow she forgave him after a day. I don’t even know what to say anymore.

This was probably my top T.L. Swan book to date and I’ve read ALOT of them. I’ve loved all the Miles brothers but Christopher and this whole story turned out to be my favorite of all.
