Only reason I'm knocking half a star off is because it took me a long time to get into this book. I don't know how long I would've taken to get through it if I didn't switch between reading on my Kindle and listening to the audiobook.
But really, don't listen to the reviews that say "no plot, just monster dick" because there is a really good plot going on. Mystery, betrayal, mystical intrigue... and the characters are all fun and interesting. To be fair, I'm fairly indifferent towards Esther, but I love all the men, save for Amon. He's on thin ice. Overall, a good time with good smut.
But really, don't listen to the reviews that say "no plot, just monster dick" because there is a really good plot going on. Tbh I kind of loved how Esther had very little personality and just lived fucking. I've seen that as a critique, but that's something the book is well aware of and is literally a part of her character!!!!
Also I love a reverse haram book that also has a bit of poly thrown in 🥰🥰🥰
I do wish the Big Bad had a bit more depth to him. I felt like I was told a lot about him but I wanted a bit more detail!!! He was pretty dang bad in the final scene though.

This is a super soft Victorian era monster reverse harem romance and it’s SO GOOD. The pacing and world building are cool, the FMC is really likeable and sex positive and the spice is super spicy. There is one scene with dubious consent and there are more than a few plot-driven scenes that are scary - please check the content warnings.
