a quick survey of art history and how artists (mainly painters and sculpters) see the world, through their individual contexts. I liked the inclusion of BIPOC and contemporary artists, and was a refreshing intro into artists I have heard about but didn't know their biographies. Narration was excellent!

Chapters I liked:
David Hockney*
Frida Kahlo
Artemisia Gentileschi*
Jenifer packer
Jean Michel basquiat
Rembrandt*
Turrell
Alice Neal*
Noguchi (akari lamps)
Xochipala
Georgia O'Keefe

Once again, the author’s promising premise is abandoned in favor of a series of artist biographies.
