This book made me realise people are really weird.

This is a hard one. I absolutely enjoyed reading it. It's macabre and funny but at some point it started to drag on a lot. It didn't make it any less interesting but it still impacted the reading experience.
Some of the stories were less interesting than others but overall it was a really good selection.
I learned a lot more or less usefull stuff while reading. For example I didn't know how popular skulls are and how many bodies get misplaced, go missing or are involved in more adventures than during their lifetime.
It makes you grateful for a peaceful and proper burial, how ever that may look for the individual.
Maybe others would actually love to have such an adventurous afterlife, sounds memoriable for sure.

Interesting. Macabre. Extremely helpful in my quest for useless facts that I can spout off randomly.

Rest In Pieces is a quirky and engaging collection of short stories with a macabre twist and a focus on historical accuracy. Every tale focuses on a famous corpse and the truth really is stranger than fiction. I devoured this book and, if such topics interest you like they interest me, I suspect you will too!
