This book was amusing, both amusingly unserious and melancholic in some areas. It went back and fourth between the two themes.

The book ended in a way I didn't expect it would when I first started reading.

Toward the end, so much happened, it was super juicy. It's not the best thing I've read, but it was a good time.

WHAT WAS THE POINT!

You made me love Myyah and kill her? I. I literally can't.

All that aside this book has some really amazing discussions about poverty, court house corruption, domestic abuse / violence, gun violence, etc.

My only complaint is that the vocabulary used was redundant at least 4 time we used the same sentence to describe different something in 4 different scenes. Sometimes that pulled me out of the story but other than that I was really intrigued.
