Compelling, engaging, I was immediately sucked into the family drama and invested in the characters' fates, although at times it felt like emotional intensity for the sake of emotional intensity

This is my fourth Olivie Blake book that I've read. The first three were The Atlas Six trilogy, and I had a lukewarm reaction to the series overall. I don't know what Blake put in One for My Enemy, but it gripped me from the beginning and didn't let go. The slight disappointment I had was who the narrator of the epilogue was, but other than that, I had such a great time with this book. I couldn't put it down!
