Is there any more loved novel? Well there are many that are better. Although it's structure builds it's message of the need for empathy, mirroring the style of Atticus Finch, in an impressive way, it's portrayal of a small town and its hypocrisies is wonderful, the trial sequence is a masterpiece, and it's key message is a fine one it is not a flawless book. For a book so often seen as an anti racist text it presents the black characters through white eyes and saved by the same. The character of Atticus Finch is also such a moral hero that he becomes quite statuesque, like American heroes like Lincoln or Washington he becomes the teller of truth rather than a fully rounded human being.

had to read this one for school and it was a harddd fight to finish it, not the best experience although it has a few nice messages ig? you def have to view it in it‘s time tho👀

A classic for a reason!
