Ok, so technically I did finish, because I skipped 100 pages and bopped around until I found out who the killer was BUT I was so bored my skipping didn’t affect my understanding of the plot at all. Overall, I found the writing too try-hard and unoriginal.

Gwen is determined to get back out to dating when her relationship falls apart and throws herself out into the online dating apps. The problem is that her dates start turning up dead and to the police it looks a lot like she might have something to do with it. She can't even tell her best friend as she's days away from getting married. Can Gwen convince the police that it's not her fault and maybe find the real killer in the process?

This was a fun dark comedy with a decent mystery behind it. I didn't guess the real murderer until a couple of chapters before the reveal, and although it's not super twisty, it is a fun read. I'm a big fan of Elle Cosimano, Bella Mackie and Katy Brent's books and this definitely falls into the same category.  I'm looking forward to cracking on with Luke's latest book (Everyone in the Group Chat Dies) ASAP.

I mostly read about women and rarely DNF but this lead had literally nothing I could empathize with. She was a bad caricature.

I listened to this in almost one sitting due to a long car ride, and boy was I hooked. It was a unique take on a dating app that was believable. I feel like when authors try to copy tinder/hinge/etc, it is either too similar or too unbelievable, but this one felt just right in the way the MC interacted with it.
