A great mystery with the twist of all the victims being tied by being dates the main character met on a dating app. I thouroughly enjoyed this story and was hooked from the first chapters!
4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I thought I had this book all figured out, the plot twist was something else. I love this type of book, FMC character who uses humour as a defence mechanism. If you liked any books by Katy Brent, you’d like this!
I really enjoyed this one! It was a quick easy read with the mystery! It would have been a 4 had I not guessed the suspect. However, I did keep guessing pretty much until close to the end.
If you’re looking for a quick mystery with some humour I recommend this one!

At first I couldn’t help but to compare to a Frieda McFadden book, and it wasn’t my favorite read. The end proved me totally wrong though which I do really like.

This is such a fast paced book that it kept me on my feet the whole time I was reading it. It’s such a twisted and weird book to read. They were so many people I thought was the killer but I was so wrong when the killer was revealed at the end but the killer makes sense to the book because of the main character Gwen. This book is a twist on modern day dating apps. The characters of this book were all written so well and all made an impact to the book so well. The only two characters I wasn’t a fan on was the police officer as they seemed rude and arrogant. Such a good book overall xxx
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this one!
I did this one as a buddy read with some friends and it was such a good one to have discussions about throwing our theories around.
There were absolutely some good red herrings in here and I enjoyed playing detective to try and work out the killer.
I’m proud to say the killer was in our suspect list but not until about 70% into the book
I really liked Gwen’s sense of humour and she did have me chuckling.
The pace of the book felt good to me and I enjoyed the shorter chapters. There were some cracking cliff hangers at the end of some of these that made you want to keep reading!
As someone who has online dated and met my other half through POF (12 years together this year) it certainly brought back some memories… thankfully all my dates lived 😂
If you love books with a witty, sarcastic female lead and centred around serial killing then you’ll enjoy this. Think of Listen for the Lie, How to Slay at work and How to get away with Murder!
