This book was an absolute delight to read. I’m not normally one to read thrillers, so this being more of a mild murder mystery was perfect for me. Note: murders still happen and details are shown, but I’m not on dating apps so I wasn’t feeling threatened by this plot. This was just so original! I genuinely didn’t put it together ahead of time of who the murderer was (not all the story was shared which helped in not being able to figure it out). I loved how the plot was organized with going back to hear about the date when it became relevant to the current story. It is funny based on how true some of the storylines are to current dating scenes. I liked the tiny bit of romance thrown in, but appreciated that it didn’t overwhelm the storyline. I can’t say much more without giving away the story, but this is absolutely worth the read! 4.75⭐️

This was a lot of fun, but there were a couple things that were a little unclear at the end.
I figured out the Red Herrings fairly early on, like one was "Either this guy is the Killer or is a Red Herring" at the MOMENT he first appeared in the book.
I liked how the whole thing turned out. I figured who was probably the killer during the scene at the bowling alley, but it didn't seem likely, so I was nicely surprised during the climax.
Very fun, really enjoyed it.

Swiped by L.M. Chilton is a bit of a mixed bag. While the premise of a woman finding herself in the middle of a murder mystery after a string of bad dates is intriguing, the execution falls short.

The humor, meant to lighten the tone, often felt forced and didn't always land. The mystery itself was predictable, with the reveal lacking a satisfying punch. Gwen, the protagonist, was frustratingly self-absorbed and her constant whining grew tiresome.

If you're looking for a lighthearted thriller with a dash of humor, Swiped might be worth a try. However, don't expect a mind-bending mystery or a well-developed heroine.

Thank you, Head of Zeus & NetGalley for this ARC!

I've been looking for something similar to Bella Mackie's, How to Kill Your Family, so when I looked at this year's new releases & saw this & then saw it on NetGalley saying it was perfect for fans of How to Kill Your Family, I knew I had to read it & I read this in an evening as I just couldn't put it down!

This book has the perfect blend of humour and fast-paced, gripping & twisty plot that I would recommend to everyone!

Every time I thought I knew who the killer was, I would have the rug pulled from under me & be back guessing who else it could be. I thought I had it nailed at one point but then, nope. I had no clue until the very reveal & was utterly shocked! I loved it & loved that it wasn't predictable like some murder mystery novels can become.

Starting out, I did worry that some of the characters might end up being annoying, filler, or just poorly developed, but that wasn't the case! I thought all the characters were perfectly crafted & flawed in a way that made them totally likable & relatable, in my opinion, there wasn't a badly written character at all, even the dislikeable dates.

The fact that this is a debut novel is insane & if this is anything to go by then I think I might have found one of my new favourite authors.

Really good, the plot was very original, the twists where unexpected. I usually feel like I can make out the end of a thriller but this one I was really struggling to guess what would happen. I also like the fact that it was filled with different subjects like fear of commitment, love, friendship, dating apps issues.

I received this book as ARC . this book was excellent mystery/thriller . The story is a great quick thriller .
