Matt Haig really outdid himself when telling this story. I was sucked into the midnight library - asking hard questions, making difficult choices, and discovering myself along with the main character. this book will probe some of life's biggest questions, delivered in an heartwrenching, thoughtful dialogue. it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend to any reader!!!

I wish my oc Hayden were real. He would've loved this book.

The last 25% of the book I really enjoyed. The first 75% I would say was “ok”. I liked the premise, and from my professional background was pleased with how it ended (I was a little concerned that if it was any other ending than the one the author chose, it would send the wrong message about depression, suicide and mental health). However, the different lives/universes just didn’t grab me in and I found it slow going until the ending picked up pace.

This book found me after an unintentionally very long break from reading, and I couldn’t be more grateful. This book saw right through me and pulled me in immediately. Though the story is at times difficult, and the emotions veered towards heavy, it was easy to dive into the story. I had to know what would happen to Nora, and I also wanted to know what I would think and discover through reading her story. So wonderfully enjoyable. I have a feeling I’ll re-read many times.
