I really, really wanted to love this book. I did love the concept; it was such a cool idea. But I personally did not love the execution and how hallmark like it became, and almost preachy? I didn’t hate it, but definitely not my fave.

Did the message or the aim teach me\ guide me
No.... It added to my perspective.....but it's nothing I didn't already know and think about concerning my mental wellness everyday
Was the story unique?...kinda
Like alot of books nowadays....feels it was written to be a movie....ok that's not a bad thing

Overall it was okay. I did enjoy the philosophical quotes from Thoreau and the like. Towards the end I had a feeling it would end up how it did. The beginning could be a little triggering for anyone who has had suicidal thoughts or the like just as an FYI since the description of the book doesnt mention it.
