Not very strong writing (and maybe I'm just out of practice reading celebrity memoirs) but she has had an interesting journey. Definitely fascinating origins, and I'm sure competing 5 times really makes a therapy bill worth it. Not too impactful for me, but I do think there were a lot of good lessons for (white) women about empowering yourself in your relationships, allowing yourself to grieve, etc.

This book has everything, but it especially has a thoughtful and thoroughly human author that pains a beautiful picture on how we can improve ourselves as people. Also I have soooo much tv to catch up on now!

Honestly so much of Parvatis experience resonated with me, I just wish it was more in depth than it ended up being

As a Parvati fan in her later years, I was intrigued to read this memoir and for the most part it was informative, especially her young childhood. I struggled with her decisions as she became older, more mature, and had more life experiences. Parts felt whiny and some things definitely seemed attention seeking. Honestly, it's hard to rate a memoir and not feel 100% judgmental. It was interesting and I learned a lot about her.

Loved hearing Parvati’s story in her own voice, and very cool to see how she’s metamorphosed over the years. RIP Black widow 2008-2025, long live Parv
