Desde la más absoluta objetividad, puedo afirmar que este libro es el mejor que he leído desde Guerra y paz. Pero Guerra y paz no lo terminé en 24 horas. Lev 0 - Parv 1.

usually when i see a reality star wrote a memoir i write it off as a cash grab from someone who thinks they’re more important than they actually are. this is not one of those. parvati’s life is incredibly unique and her reflections are very thoughtful. the writing style is not for me, but i stuck it out for the story. highly recommend listening to this as an audiobook.

I’ve been obsessed with Parvati ever since I started binge-watching Survivor in 2021. She’s a smart, strong, badass woman who knows how to get what she wants. But this book shows us a whole new side of her: a vulnerable, honest, and deeply reflective side.
Framing her story through the lens of the fight/flight/freeze/fawn response, Parvati delivers a narrative that’s both entertaining and eye-opening. I already admired her, but now I relate to her on an entirely different level. This woman has been through some serious stuff—from being born into a cult to being slut-shamed (pure misogyny), to building a beautiful life and chosen family. It’s raw, real, and truly inspiring.

If you’ve ever had an opinion on Parvati—good, bad, or complicated—you need to read this book. I guarantee it’ll shift your perspective in some way.
