I wasn't expecting much from this so when I got somewhat developed characters, I was pretty impressed. Unfortunately, it turns into "I'm on my dream Paris trip, but all I'm thinking about is sexual things" fast and it never left for a moment. It is dramatic and the smut is at a high volume, but, overall, I kinda enjoyed this one. Like to the point where if there were just a couple more moments of non-sex buzzed brain going on from our protagonist, I might have given this a four.

I went into this book thinking it was going to be a hot and steamy read — which it is! — but I also found that this book was fun and oh so sigh worthy. The best part about this book? LUCAS. You will fall in love with this fabulous French-American man. He will sweep you off your feet just like he did with Mia.

After Mia’s fiance dumps her one week before their glamorous wedding, her friends convince her to take her honeymoon Paris trip anyway. Mia goes against her OCD planning and just goes to Paris to start enjoying herself. You see, Mia has everything planned out including what age she will have children, what age she will be married by, and what age she will have a home, etc. She is a major list maker. Anything and everything is made into a list and planned out. Lucas throws Mia for a loop when she walks into his family bar in Paris. She is upset and missing her relationship status and ready to head home the first night. Lucas convinces her to let him take her on a tour of Paris before she decides if she wants to leave early. She agrees as long as he doesn’t show her any romantic sites.

These two quickly fall for each other only to find out that Lucas has some secrets of his own. Not only does Lucas disrupt Mia and her plans, but Lucas is a person who lives in the ‘now’ and refuses to plan his life in the future. This translates into Lucas not wanting to settle into a commitment with anyone. He doesn’t believe in marriage, kids or anything Mia desires for her future. In Frenched, Mia and Lucas have to deal with their feelings and what it means to be with someone they can’t live without.

What happens when you decide to still go in your honeymoon trip even when your ex called off the wedding? You get to Paris and hate it because everything you see it's love. But then you walked into a bar and the bartender that psychoanalyzed you offers to be your guide through Paris for a day so you don't leave hating the city. And then you absolutely love to spend the day with him.
I loved that Lucas is not her type at all, but he is so charming she just starts liking him

Quick easy romance with great spice! I loved the Parisian setting, which I felt managed to be accurate and descriptive enough to be recognized with taking over the plot. I did find Mia to be whiny and immature at times but Lucas was adorable. There was more focus on the spice than any depth of character development and the ending felt really abrupt. Ok read.

This was a good story, even better for readers who’ve been to Paris as the travel through the city was very accurate and reminded me of my honeymoon. That being said, I may be slightly biased because I did love that city so much.
I liked that the hero in this book wasn’t flawlessly perfect, he was a bit short and kinda unkept. I’m a little sick of the perfect hero in most romances today. I also liked that he was sweet, this is a change for this author as she usually writes complete assholes (though perhaps it isn’t a change as this is her first contemporary romance so I guess she has evolved into the hero being an asshole with infantile emotional maturity).
The heroine was a bit annoying and controlling and very shallow but she did improve throughout the story so there was character growth.
Reading other reviews of this book I expected it to be hotter as everyone says this is a racy book. I guess that depends on the reader as I found the sex scenes steamy but not shocking or racy. Tying someone up just isn’t the taboo thing it used to be. It’s actually almost vanilla now, or maybe it just is to me
