I read this more than a year ago and forgot to leave a review when I initially read it. Therefore, I can only give a start rating based on my memory of the impression this story left on me. I'll be rereading it in the future and actually share my thoughts on it. Therefore, take this star rating with a grain of salt.

It’s a very solid, short but emotional and action packed Iron Fist story. It can be read by itself but preferably after Immortal Iron Fist Vol. 1 by Matt Fraction and Ed Brubaker, Immortal Iron Fist Vol.2 mostly by Duane Swierczynski, Iron Fist: The Living Weapon and The Immortal Iron Fists by Kate Andrews.

It’s a fun martial arts adventure with a slight supernatural and horror tinge. It’s quite light but when the violence comes it’s with full blood and gore so if you’re sensitive to that steer clear. I love the character Danny Rand/Iron Fist
