(Contains light spoilers.)

The entire plot line with Uesugi is just bad, in my opinion. It's trying to be a new, cuter take on the dramatic romance (like Peach Girl, for instance). And sometimes it works.

Uesugi tries to take advantage of Megumu, to prove that Aoi is weak, and instead Megumu turns it back on him with a big speech. It's supposedly powerful, I guess.

There's also a lot of plot movement with Azusa and Mitsuru. Mitsuru is on the hunt to find her stalker, and they join together to fight them. Then the cliffhanger goes back to Uesugi making a move on Megumu.

Meh. That's what I feel for this series. Meh.

Megumu Kobayashi is caught in an evil plot by Chiharu Uesugi, who is intent to destroy Aoi Sanada for reasons still unknown. Unfortunately for him, his plan backfires and brings Megumu and Aoi closer together. Mitsuru Kobayashi and Azusa Tokugawa are still battling their way through their feelings for one another as once again they must defent Tokugawa from those who mean her harm.

I thought this volume was adorable and on par with the others, especially when it comes to the storyline between Azusa and Mitsuru; however, I can't ignore the fact that at the beginning of this novel there is a threat to rape Megumu from Chiharu that definitely did not need to be there. I don't care if the character "never would have actually done it" the fact that it was put in here as a plot device really bothered me.

Not the best volume in the series for me it had a weird moment in which her brother took a pic of her changing and sent it to her boyfriend. I know this a older manga but I don’t think this type of thing happened even several years ago at least I hoped not. Also the only way that Tokugawa can get away from her stalkers is to look ugly like what. <\spoiler>

Chiharu's evil ploy gets part of the results he desired but Megumi has a surprise of her own that she counters him with. But his character is still a mysterious one. I really want to know about the past and why he seems to want revenge.
THe stalker mystery is resolved with shocking and amusing results. Confessions are made after all this time.
Overall I am hoping this improves. This was still a good read but it really borders on just being so-so. It just didn't grab me. Seemed to have lots of filler pages or overly exploded pictures used to come up with a full volume.

I could not put his one down. This has lots of surprises and a fantastic fight seen. However, no all is well in lala land when a new love rival arrives on the scene.

Mitsuru and Azusu - you two actually like each other. Now kiss. Aoi try telling Megumu everything and maybe your old friend won't pose a "threat." Why does no one ever talk to each other? Oh yeah, because then the story would be over.
