Yawn.

I liked this. Believe it or not this was my first Judy Blume book. Sweet story about grief and how some people deal with it differently. Hated her aunt and uncle in this book so much.

Five out of Five Stars

I really enjoyed Tiger Eyes! It was a quick read and a good read for the summer!

This book is about putting your pieces back together again.

Davey has just lost her dad and her is lost. She doesn't eat, she doesn't move, she just sleeps. Then, she goes to her aunt and uncle's house with her brother and her mom. There, her mom falls apart.

This book is about putting your life back together after something tragic has happened. It is a story about lost love and new beginnings.

At the start of the book, Davey is falling apart. She can't get up, she can't eat and she has problems going to school. However, after she goes to Los Alamos, she starts to deal with all her problems surrounding her father's death.

Davey grows into a stronger person and soon she is able to talk about her father and the violent way that he died.

She also has a connection with Wolf, a guy who's father is dying.

In this book, Davey grows emotionally and learns how to pick up the pieces of a broken heart and put them together. Her, along with her mother show the extreme strength that humans possess. Judy Blume shows us real emotions in this book and how to cope with loss.

A nice, easy read for anyone.

A re-read from childhood.... a comfort in the time of a global pandemic

One of my favorite books when I was younger!

3,5*
A bit outdated but with a strong message.

One of my favorite Judy Blume novels. Not quite my favorite audiobook, the reader was a little too old-sounding for a young protagonist.
