Madonna in a Fur Coat is one of those novels that lingers with you long after you read it. It was beautiful and tender, I wished it was longer so I could keep reading. It is more than just a love story, it is a poignant meditation on loneliness and the fleeting nature of human connection.

Yearning final boss.

Not my usual genre, and at times I was mentally drifting off. But it's just enough to keep me flipping the page. It's good. Kind of went crazy on the pacing at the end and the revelation was a bit abrupt but I truly think this is a classic for a reason.

In a way, the book's pacing is as much a whirlwind as the romance.
