🤍 Thank you @shadowmountainpub for the arc of this fantastic story 🤍
Megan Walker never fails to deliver a completely swoony romance, wrapped in an incredibly cozy package!
Highcliffe House is full of rivalry, tension, witty banter, and heart!
I loved how Anna and Graham each grew as individuals as the story explored the theme of not judging people before you know the whole story.
Read if you love:
• enemies to lovers
• seaside cottages
• character growth
• witty banter
• family love

After enjoying Lakeshire Park and Miss Newbury's List, I was excited to get an advance copy of Highcliffe House. The main characters, Anna Lane and Graham Everett have disliked, and perhaps even hated each other, for three years now. During this time, Graham has become good friends with Anna's father and the two of them regularly invest in business ventures together. This has led Anna to resent Graham as she blames him for her father's busyness which leaves her constantly isolated. When a new investment scheme becomes the turning point to the individual dreams Anna and Graham have, the challenge is on to see which of their end goals will win out in the end.
Every romance reader has their favorite tropes and preferred story lines, and I enjoyed watching Anna and Graham go from enemies to lovers. It did seem that the timeline for this transition was very sudden, however, especially for people who have three years of misunderstandings that they need to work through. Brighton was a fun setting and the descriptions of the sea made me convinced that I need a vacation by the ocean! I recommend this book to regency romance readers looking for a summery read where the characters do more than just attend balls and have parlor room chats.
Thank you Edelweiss for the the ARC.
