Average. I don’t think horror graphic novels are really my thing, but I liked the concept of all the keys. This definitely kept me interested.

Brilliantly constructed, but read with caution. It’s very violent with significant gore. The horror aspect should be obvious from the title alone, but it’s more horror and tragedy than frightening. One of the main antagonists being a teenager is disconcerting though it fits the plot and characterization. He’s very much a tragedy all on his own.

Loved the story! It had the right amount of heart and horror. The characters felt real, as did their trauma. I cannot wait to see some of the questions I had while reading be answered in the rest of the books.

Entertaining story and great art work, though if you’re coming from the Netflix adaptation just know it’s darker than on screen.
